It’s incredible to think that it’s been more than a decade since the 2006 release of The Kooks’ debut (now five times platinum) album Inside In / Inside Out. In celebration of this milestone, the band packed up their kit and hit the road in a celebratory tour with support act Aussie rockers DMA’S in tow.
The Kooks played Boscombe’s the O2 Academy earlier in 2017 but made a return to Bournemouth on 1 December ready to play the BIC. As the tour name suggests, the band played all their classics from the past ten years including Naïve, She Moves In Her Own Way, Ooh La and Bad Habit.
They also performed the single Be Who You Are and Broken Vow in a set list unmistakably influenced by the band’s heroes The Rolling Stones, The Police and The Strokes.
