The Croham Hotel is a fine 3-star establishment in the Durley Chine area of Bournemouth, which caters for both business and leisure trips with equal flair. Offering a warm atmosphere in their recently-renovated building, the Croham is only a five minute walk from the town’s shops, leisure and entertainment facilities, restaurants, businesses and the award-winning Bournemouth beach.
A touch of finesse
You enter the building to a warm welcome by its friendly owners and staff. The décor is chic and classy in a mix of creams and browns.
Take a seat in Reception or pull up a comfy pew in the adjoining bar with its well-stocked fridges, assorted snacks and wall-mounted flatscreen televisions creating a leisurely and relaxing atmosphere.
There are a variety of bedrooms available across the Croham Hotel’s three floors (there is a lift situated just off the bar if you have a lot of luggage or don’t want to use the stairs). The 38 bedrooms are all en-suite and offer a mix of singles, doubles, twin and family rooms.
The family rooms can accommodate up to four people in two doubles or a double and two singles and you can even bring your pet, too, for an additional £10 per day.
Individuals, families and groups are all welcome to come and stay at the Croham. The bedrooms are cosy and stylish and come equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a direct dial telephone, flatscreen television and integral workspace – ideal if you’re travelling on business or bringing a laptop.
If you need to spruce up your wardrobe during your stay – perhaps before a night out on the tiles or a big meeting, ironing facilities are available to use on request.
Bed and breakfast
The Croham Hotel’s calm and quiet dining room is situated on the ground floor and overlooks a back garden area where you can head outside with a drink or to get some fresh, sea air. The hotel is a Bed and Breakfast and it serves up a generous Continental spread plus a cooked full English or cooked Vegetarian breakfast option.
Breakfast is served from 7.30-9am Monday to Friday and 8-9.30am over the weekend. The restaurant can provide an evening meal to guests during the summer season and non-residents are welcome to come and dine here too.
If you’re celebrating an occasion or throwing a party, The Croham Hotel can provide private function facilities for up to 40 people in the restaurant, arranged with smart conference or dining seating and serve up a finger buffet. The bar area can also be used as a breakout room for conferences, events, training or away-days.
Checking in and out
You can check in to the hotel from midday and check out until 11am at the end of your stay. If you want to check out later, this can be arranged for a £20 supplement.
