The surroundings are well styled but comfortable, inviting you to socialise, to dine and to relax and if the sun’s out you can find a pew in the beer garden.

On Sundays, why not make that beach stroll more inspiring with a date at The Cliff for one of its legendary roasts? They still offer their standard menu if you don’t fancy all the trimmings. Perhaps you’d rather the lobster and king prawn pot or duck liver and port parfait with gooseberry and Prosecco flavour compote?
Desserts are a big deal at The Cliff with a delicious range of sweet treats on the menu. Why not opt for a traditional Bramley apple and blackberry shortbread crumble to compliment your Sunday roast, go trans-Atlantic with a slice of New York style cheesecake or spoil yourself with a warm Belgian chocolate brownie.
If you’re bringing the kids along and their appetites are not big enough for the main menu The Cliff also offers a delicious selection of dishes the little ones will enjoy, with mains, desserts and the all-important Sunday roast all on the menu. A child’s main meal and dessert are just £7.95 Monday to Saturday with a selection of favourites including British beef burger sliders, sausage and mash and chicken breast strips.
Rather than having to pick your way through the vegetarian or gluten-free dishes to identify a vegan choice, The Cliff offers its very own vegan menu packed with tasty, plant-based options. From a delicious stacked aubergine dish to a spinach and harissa burger all rounded off with sweet treats like treacle and pecan tart or a refreshing coconut sorbet with a raspberry sugar shard there’s plenty of choices for all dietary requirements.
