The Block Party: Halloween saw more than 50 DJs and artists perform to 3000 ‘monsters’ across six town centre night venues; The Old Fire Station, The George Tapps, Sharkeys Sports Bar, Le Chic, Bomo Bunker and Bomo Café Bar.
The line-up featured artists High Contrast, Chris Lorenzo, Abra Cadabra, Riton, James Hype, DJ Luck and MC Neat, Jaded, Mollie Collins, APEXAPE and Bushbaby B2B Barely Royal with stage hosts including Foreverland, ON A MISSION and Propaganda on the frighteningly good bill.
The Block Party ran for ten hours and as well as a blood-curdling sound system, revellers encountered spooky décor, gruesome installations, ghoulish special guests and a whole lot of frights all through the night. The event also featured daytime parties, pop-up venues, a silent disco and interactive areas to keep the Halloween fever bubbling.
Access to all six venues was via the one single wristband and guests could track the events on their phones to make sure they were always in the right crowd. Tickets were priced from £10 to £25 and visitors with a birthday between 21 October and 5 November were (trick or) treated to a free ticket, while stocks last.
