Whether you’ve fervently followed the career of British pop group Steps for the last two decades or their March 2017 comeback Scared of the Dark finally won you over, did you have the hottest ticket in town when the band’s huge UK arena came to the BIC on November 27 2017?
Party on the Dancefloor celebrated Steps’ 20-year history (and counting) with a larger-than-life extravaganza of all their top hits (they scored fourteen consecutive Top 5 singles back in the day and sold over 20 million records, topping the chart with three albums and three singles).
Plus, they performed tracks from their 2017 album Tears on the Dancefloor for which they collaborated with songwriters responsible for the recent hits of some of today’s hottest musical talents including Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne Little Mix, Sigma, Years and Years, 1D, 5SOS, Olly Murs and many more. It’s still the unmistakable Steps sound but refreshed for today’s music taste.
Steps: Party on the Dancefloor Tour visited thirteen towns and cities across the UK and Ireland including London’s Wembley Arena and the O2. The band were supported by classic pop act The Vengaboys, who were responsible for several classic party tunes including ‘We Like to Party’, ‘Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom’ and ‘The Vengabus!’
