Skills and Learning Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole (BDP) is an adult learning service backed by the Skills Funding Agency to provide opportunities for personal and professional development. Now in its second year, the organisation has already enabled thousands of local learners to pursue vocational training programmes to improve employability or boost their prospect of promotion. The wide variety of courses on offer give learners opportunities to develop new skills, build confidence and socialise. Courses address vocational skills, return to learn, health and wellbeing and leisure and are designed to help participants forge new interests, personal skills or skills for work.
