For a fun and memorable day out with a fun aquatic theme, take the one-hour trip down to Weymouth for the Sea Life park.
This thrilling ocean adventure park lets you explore the murky depths of the world’s seas and come face-to-fin with some of the most exotic animals you are unlikely to find washed up on Weymouth waterfront! The species are divided up into their natural habitats, so enter Ray Lagoon for thousands of sea creatures from the tropics. Explore the Rainforest to meet some of its weird and wonderful residents and marvel at the colourful fish around the Shipwreck. There’s a penguin beach, turtle sanctuary and a fun Ocean Tunnel, where giant shark, moray eels, tropical fish, turtles and rays swirl all around you as you walk right through the murky depths.
The RockPool is a lovely place to get up close to starfish, crabs and other beachside critters and the nursery a wonderful world of new life welcomed through the Sea Life park’s successful breeding programme.
Following Weymouth’s starring role hosting the sailing events in London 2012, a trip up the purpose-built Jurassic Skyline tower just off the town’s pier is now included in your Sea Life Adventure Park ticket.
