Rising rock act Royal Blood played an incredible gig at the BIC on Tuesday 28 November to a crowd keen to catch them at a local venue before they start filling stadiums.
The performance in Bournemouth was one of a 19-date tour, which saw the Brighton two-piece bringing their unique rock sound to arenas around the UK and Europe. This is the band’s biggest headline tour to date, previously playing much-acclaimed second fiddle (err, bass) to the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and the Foo Fighters.
The tour saw the pair Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher play hits from their astronomically successful second album ‘How Did We Get So Dark?’ with its rock chart-topping ‘Lights Out’ and ‘Hook, Line and Sinker’ as well as earlier anthems ‘Out of the Black’ and ‘Little Monster’.
The band was supported in the UK and Ireland by At the Drive-In and Blood Honey opened all Royal Blood’s UK and European dates.
