Queens Park is a popular, leafy suburb of Bournemouth, situated between Charminster and Littledown, eponymously named after its large, historically significant park.
Residents can enjoy the Green Flag winning Queens Park right on their doorstep. The Park has a large golf course, a modern children’s playground, public toilets and the charming WoodPecker cafe – perfect for a day out. The park is expansive, with woodland and open green space, as well as a large, beautiful lake with a resident heron!
If outdoor exercise doesn’t suit you, you’ll be sure to find what you need at BH Live Active Queens Park. The suburb is just the other side of the A338 from the Vitality Football stadium and Kings Park Athletics Track.
Queens Park Avenue backs on to the park itself, and features a few very large detached properties with garages and well-sized gardens. However, Brackendale Road is just one street further back but has many more properties – all gorgeous, big houses, with covered garages and large reception drives. As such, the area is popular with families : big houses, big gardens and very close to Queens Park!
Residents are conveniently situated just down the road from the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, and Queens Park Chiropractic Centre, Queens Park Dental, Queens Park Pharmacy, St. Albans Medical Centre and Littledown Surgery are all just a walk away.
Yellow and More Buses provide excellent transport links into Bournemouth town centre, and the A338 is close by – ready to take you further afield to Bournemouth Airport, Poole or Salisbury.
