If the annual panto at Christmas never seems quite enough, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that Bournemouth Pavilion regularly throws an Easter pantomime into the mix too! In 2017 Dani “Tracy Beaker” was back in town starring in a spring rendition of Robin Hood.
Playing Hood to Harmer’s Maid Marian (no time for Singing in the Rain) was Britain’s Got Talent winner George Sampson, while X Factor Runner-Up and everyone’s favourite singing bin-man Andy Abraham joined this all-star comedy line-up as the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham.
Bringing all the gags and pizzazz of the traditional panto show with the swashbuckling, arrow-slinging, tights-wearing escapades of the classic Robin Hood adventure, this one-day spectacular (with a 2pm matinee and 6pm evening performance) gave families a great way to wrap up their Easter Holidays. It is bumper-packed with comedy songs and singalongs, japes and jokes to tickle the whole family.
