Whether you want to pick up some last stocking fillers or you’re still waiting for festive fever to strike before you bear brave the Christmas shopping you’re bound to find some seasonal essentials at the annual Littledown Christmas Market, the most recent of which was in November 2017.
Filling the floor of this popular leisure centre’s main hall, the Littledown Christmas Market opens from 11am to 4pm and is bursting with ideas to inspire your ideal Christmas.
Perhaps you’ve got a friend or family member who seems to have everything. A hard-to-buy-for teen or distant cousin you exchange a card and gift with by post just once a year. You might want to buy something quintessentially unique and British for family abroad, treat your mum to a festive hamper or source some original wrapping or decorations rather than plump for the standard supermarket options. Whatever you’re after it’s worth popping in and seeing what you can find rather than endure another potentially fruitless trudge up and down a high street!
If you’re bringing the little ones, they can visit Father Christmas or take part in several kids’ activities on offer like sand art, face painting and a live performance from Jules the Entertainer. In fact, you’ll find over 80 different stalls selling Christmas gifts and trimmings to kick-start your festive season.
If you’re still not feeling it, just wait until the Christmas carolers tune up from the balcony! You’ll be decking the halls in no time! It’s too late for 2017 but keep an eye out for next year’s event – coming November 2018.
