Langtry Manor Hotel is a beautiful and romantic venue built by Edward VII for his mistress Lillie Langtry. Langtry’s Restaurant has all the comfort and trappings of the hotel itself in a sweeping baronial hall dressed with lavish place settings, luxurious linen, lofty ceilings and grand stained glass windows. Langtry’s midweek menus are great value and beautifully designed around fresh local, seasonal ingredients. The Friday and Saturday menus change weekly and on Saturdays the waiting staff serve a lavish six-course banquet dressed in mobcaps and traditional costumes.
Fine dining
For a lighter bite, Langtry’s elegant drawing room will lay on a mouth-watering afternoon tea of delicate finger sandwiches and delicious baked treats washed down with a choice of teas, fruit infusions, coffee, a glass of bubbly or the hotel’s trademark Prince of Wales cocktail.
