Visitors for Bournemouth and Poole College or University’s Lansdowne campuses are a mile and a half from their destination when staying at the Laguna and Bournemouth University and Arts University’s Talbot campus is less than two miles in the other direction.
All rooms at the Laguna are ensuite, a mixture of singles, doubles, twins and family rooms with a bath or shower and there are also a number of rooms in the hotel annexe, set in the grounds of the main hotel. Every guest room has a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and there is free WiFi in every bedroom and all public areas. There is an indoor heated swimming pool with spa bath, sauna and solarium – giving you the choice of swimming lengths or having a blissful soak in the (coin operated) spa bath, a spot of relaxation or even a tan top-up! There is also a games room on the premises if you want to challenge friends or family to impromptu game of table tennis or pool. Families with young children will be delighted to discover a play park in the grounds, where the little ones burn off some energy and the hotel has beautiful gardens and a sun patio where you can relax and enjoy the Bournemouth sunshine with a well-deserved drink.

Their roster of regular guests livening up the Fountain Bar includes singers, guitarists, keyboard players, quiz and bingo nights and throughout the year they lay on seasonal entertainment like carol singing, fancy dress and crazy hat competitions!
