There’s something about just being by the beach that can inspire you to become healthier. Perhaps it’s the constant stream of runners and cyclists powering their way along the prom, the urge to jump into our beautiful stretch of the English Channel and swim or just the resistance the sand gives to an otherwise casual beach stroll.
Fitliving UK is a dedicated fitness show at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) over the course of a September weekend blending over 50 fitness classes to try, showcasing the latest fitness brands and hosting industry expert speakers geared up to motivate you on your quest for health.
You can kick-start your fit weekend with some morning yoga, join a Les Mills fitness class, show off your best moves at Urban Funk and let the kids loose in a 5-13 fitness class or activity. When you’ve worked up an appetite take a stroll around the nutrition zone for tips on how to make better food choices and flex your wallet in the shopping village where you can commit to the new you by investing in some new sports apparel and fitness tech.
You can plump for a weekend pass which gives you access to the nutrition zone, the shopping village, open fitness displays and beach spectators’ area for just £6.25 or go for a weekend class ticket for £16.25, which includes all classes and the popular Les Mills Fitness Festival (think body combat, body pump etc). If you’re ready to go all out, there’s even a VIP option for £42.25.
Fitliving UK 2017 was over the weekend of 9-10 September. Watch this space for news about the next event as soon as we have it.
