NOTE: This event has been delayed indefinitely, until at least September 2020.
Fans of motorbikes – sportsters and classics alike – should head for Poole Quay each Tuesday this spring and summer as Dream Machines makes a welcome return for the lighter evenings. From 6pm to 9pm you are free to marvel at more than 1,000 bikes with a wide range of models and makes tirelessly maintained and modified by their dedicated owners.
Many of the quayside businesses get in the spirit of the event, offering bike night specials on food and drink to make sure you’re fully fuelled to enjoy this high-octane evening’s entertainment. If the main quayside is swamped you’ll often find further bikes spilling into the additional Harbourside Park arena.
Each week Poole Tourism brings you the ‘Bike of the Night’ competition sponsored by local business Muc-Off and the last event welcomes back all the winners for the Bike of the Year finale. Dream Machines is free for spectators and participating bikers pay just £1 for unique quayside access and parking amidst fellow enthusiasts and devotees.
