Chocoholics rejoice in a dedicated event to top even the most succulent of Sundays roasts! Every month the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel lays on a magnificent chocolate buffet for the ultimate Sunday indulgence. For £22.95 per person (£10.95 for under 10s) come and get your fill of the most extensive spread of chocolatey treats you’ll likely to find this side of Christmas.
The Cottonwood’s striking and intricately-designed restaurant is dotted with various chocolate stations each dedicated to a different flavour – from white to dark and everything in between – so you can either enjoy them in ‘courses’ or steer clear of a taste you’re not so fond of. You’ll find chocolate trifles, mousses, pancakes, waffles and two giant fountains plus chocolate cocktails and hot chocolates from £3.95 if you find want to quench your thirst without losing the flavour!
There is limited space so booking in advance is essential if you fancy a slap-up, all-you-can-enjoy chocolate extravaganza. The Sunday chocolate buffets were devised by home-grown entrepreneur, hotelier and chocolatier Gerry Wilton, founder of Bournemouth’s Chocolate Boutique Hotel and the man responsible for bringing some of the very first chocolate fountains into the country. What a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon, celebrate a birthday or anniversary or just indulge your sweet tooth!
