If having a family wasn’t enough of a life-changer to make you want to hang up your glowsticks, why not go large with the kids in tow at the annual family rave at The Old Fire Station!
A joint production between events company Big Fish Little Fish (cardboard box) and Lulworth music festival Camp Bestival, this event invites you and your tribe to warm up for the summer event with the headline DJ (TBC) and relive your raver days! Resident DJs Little My and High Eight bring the grown-up acid house, techno, house, hip-hip and drum ‘n’ bass dance music tunes while the kids are free to get on down on the multi-sensory dancefloor amidst glitter cannons, bubbles and giant parachute.
2018’s revellers were invited to get into character with a ‘Sail the Seven Seas’ theme by dressing in nautical costume for the chance to win a family ticket to the main event! Other activities included a giant colouring mural, themed crafts and Playdoh table plus a play area with tents and tunnels and a baby chillout space.
Make sure you grab your free transfer tattoos and glowsticks and if you’re not driving perhaps a cheeky tot of rum from the licensed bar! The event is aimed at families with under 8s but older siblings are welcome. Tickets are £8 for adults and children. Pre-walking infants are free but must have a ticket. All this and home before tea time!
