Bournemouth University is a highly reputed place of education with various schools teaching future professionals in varying fields from Accounting and Advertising to Scriptwriting and Social Work while research fellows are leading the way in innovation and research plus developing strong links with business and industry.
If you are considering furthering your studies here, Bournemouth University is holding a series of undergraduate open days this autumn where you can come and check out the main Talbot Campus in Wallisdown, Poole and the Lansdowne Campus in the centre of Bournemouth and find out all you need to know before you apply.
It’s absolutely free to register and all tickets are free too. You can book up to two visitors to join you but priority in the course talks will be given to prospective students. If you’re not completely set on the course or degree area you wish to study, this is the ideal opportunity to hear about them all – your one ticket gets you into the whole event – simply register for the presentations that take your fancy.
Plan your visit
Once you’ve booked your place you can expect to receive your full open day programme a week ahead of the event and you can plan out your visit via the dedicated iBU Open Day app.
Besides the chance to tap up the tutors and explore the courses on offer at Bournemouth University, these open days are a great chance to explore the town, the campuses, the accommodation and the facilities and get a feel first-hand for what student life would be like here.
There will also be talks on financing your course, completing your UCAS application and student living in general so you can make an informed and reasoned decision. If you’re not local, make sure you go on the bus tour, which will take you around the town to show what Bournemouth has to offer when you’ve not got your nose in a book!
