Bournemouth and Poole College (BPC) offers a mixture of further and higher education as well as community-based courses and is one of the largest of its kind in the country. Established back in 1913, BPC is split into five sites with two main campuses – one in each if its namesake towns and offers courses BTECs and A levels for school leavers, HNC and HNDs, FDA Foundation and BA/BSc Bachelors’ degrees in Arts and Sciences. The Lansdowne Campus in Bournemouth Town Centre houses the Sixth Form Campus plus beauty and holistic therapies, hairdressing, hospitality & catering, travel tourism & sport, vocational studies, workforce development and business & professional studies. Poole Town Centre’s North Road Campus offers art and design, care education and community training (including childcare and nursing), teacher training, engineering services and some applied computing courses. The Constitution (Connie) Hill campus teaches media, performing arts and some music and medical sciences courses. Redlands near Boscombe, is the base for Animal Care and The Fulcrum near Tower Park, Poole, teaches building services and construction crafts.
