Boscombe has long been celebrated for its strong sense of community and nowhere is this more evident than at the annual Boscombe Community Fair. This non-profit, community-run music and arts festival in King’s Park welcomes local traders and residents to join together and deliver and enjoy a packed programme of live entertainment, food, drinks, arts and crafts.
The 2017 event delivered a packed live music programme across three stages. The Solid Air Stage hosted fifteen acts including Nik Turner’s (Hawkwind) Space Ritual, Subgiant and Pronghorn. On The Shebang Stage were twenty acts led by Al B Damned, Self Abuse, Disorder and The Sporadics. And the Community Stage added another twenty names to the performance programme including the Mother Ukers, Thin Wire Fence and Clockwork Carousel.
