You can walk the half-mile to the sand from Blue Palms and be on the beach in just ten minutes or stroll down to the Square in five minutes. Bournemouth’s main Pier, Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion Theatre are less than half a mile away and the Lansdowne business district with Bournemouth and Poole College and Bournemouth University and Arts University buildings just over a mile from the hotel.
A home from home
This light and bright bed and breakfast caters for holidaymakers, conference visitors, contractors and families with seven well-appointed, en-suite bedrooms. Room One is a superior double on the first floor up one flight of stairs. It is one of the largest rooms in the hotel and features a bay window, dressing table and mirror and a seating area with coffee table.
Friends and family groups
Room Two is another large, superior double room on the first floor. It’s light and bright with large windows on two sides. It a seating area with coffee table and a dressing table. If you don’t need such a large space, Rooms Three, Six and Seven are comfortable, classic doubles on the first floor with a seating area and coffee table.
Room Four is a superior family room with king-size bed and a single bed plus a dressing table in the window. There is also a fold-out sofa bed if you have a fourth family member staying with you. If, however, you’re sharing with a friend or colleague why not go for Room Five, a superior twin room with two single beds, a comfy seating area in the window and a coffee table.
Children and extra beds
If you’re travelling with the family, you’ll be glad to discover that Blue Palms welcomes children over the age of five. One extra bed can be added to your room on request at a charge of £50 per night for a child over 12 and £68 per night for over 12s and adults.
Unfortunately, Blue Palms is unable to accommodate group bookings such as stag or hen parties for the comfort of their other guests and pets are also unable to stay. Check-in is between 3pm and 8pm and check-out from 8am to 11am on the final day of your stay.
Bed and breakfast
Breakfast is included in the price of your stay at Blue Palms. You can expect a hearty, Full English breakfast with the works (treat yourself, you ARE on holiday!) and there are vegetarian and lighter options too as well as a variety of cereals, fruit juice and yoghurts. Breakfast is served every day from 8:30-9:30am, or earlier by arrangement.
