If you’re keen on pursuing a career in chiropractic or you’re already practising and want to specialise or top-up your skills, the AECC University College is throwing open its doors on Saturday 6 January for an Open Day. This is a great opportunity for prospective students to have a look around, talk about the courses available and get a real feel for the place before applying to study here.
The AECC was founded back in 1965 as the first chiropractic college in Europe and became a University College in September 2017. It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, short courses and CPD in chiropractic, access to higher education, medical ultrasound, professional development chiropractic, advanced professional practice, ultrasound short courses and CPD seminars too.
The Open Day is a chance for you to go beyond the prospectus and see for yourself what student life here is all about – both on the beautiful campus and around the town.
Ask the experts
Staff and current students will be on hand to answer questions, talk about the courses and show you around the university college building and the facilities. Come and get some first-hand insight about the programme you want to study, chat to the academic staff about your application and take a tour of the halls of residence. It’s free to attend – just register your interest online.
You can expect a warm welcome whether you’re coming to the Open Day on your own or if the whole family want to come and check it out! The University College recommends you put aside 4-5 hours to really get a feel for the campus and catch the relevant subject talks, which are usually around 45 minutes long each. You can park on the campus or on the surrounding roads and the AECC is in convenient reach of various forms of public transport. Come and take your first or your next step into a rewarding career in chiropractic.
If you can’t make this event, there is another Open Day lined up on Saturday 18 August 2018.
